It’s officially the very first day of the CFV Back To School Paleo Challenge!
Although as a judge I’m not eligible to win, I will be playing along!
For the record, I following a paleo diet with the following exceptions:
- Milk (or maybe Robb-Wolf-approved whole whipping cream) in my coffee. If you’ve never eliminated dairy entirely before, I’d recommend doing it to get an idea of how it affects you. I’ve done that before, so I know that dairy doesn’t disagree with me much. So I’ll be keeping in a bit of it. Not too much because I don’t really like the idea of gut inflammation.
- Cottage cheese. Again, dairy doesn’t disagree with me much. And cottage cheese is cultured which decreases the lectin load.
- Whey protein. Because, yeah, I tend not to eat enough protein. And I can’t stomach eggs before lunchtime for some reason.

- 1RM Deadlift: 225
- 21-15-9 Squats, Burpees: 4:49
- Weigh-in: 181
Things I officially SUCK at: deadlifts, burpees. God it makes me so frustrated to be so much fucking weaker than I should be.
